The online training platform for NHS organisations using Silverlink’s patient administration system, PCS, has earned Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accreditation following the accelerated launch of the programme during the COVID–19 pandemic.
The eLearning course provides interactive video tutorials that reduce the need for training to be delivered on-site or in a face-to-face setting. The courses include online assessments to help ensure the necessary progression for its users can be undertaken at a time and place that is convenient to them.
The eLearning solution is hosted by an NHS-approved digital learning platform that is already being used by all PCS user-sites, ensuring that staff wanting to access Silverlink’s training materials will be able to do so, without the need for additional login credentials.
Work on eLearning began in 2019, but the technology was progressed during the pandemic with the demand for non-face-to-face interactions at an all-time high.
