By Car

From the North

Head south on the A1 and take the Tyne Tunnel exit. Continue south towards the Tyne Tunnel along the A19, then exit the A19 at Holystone Roundabout. Next, take the 2nd exit (signposted Cobalt Park and Whitley Bay Centre). At the roundabout take the 2nd exit straight ahead. At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Silver Fox Way and into Cobalt Business Exchange.

From the South

Travel north on the A1 (M) or the A19 towards the Tyne Tunnel. Continue through the Tyne Tunnel and at the exit, travel north on the A19. Leave the A19 when the road forks off to the left and follow the signs for the Silverlink Retail park. Take the 3rd exit heading north (signposted to Silverlink). Continue Straight over 2 mini roundabouts. At the 3rd roundabout on Middle Engine Lane take the 2nd exit onto Cobalt Park Way. Next, take the 3rd exit north on Cobalt Park Way. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit left onto Silver Fox Way and into Cobalt Business Exchange.

By Rail

Newcastle Central Station offers a multitude of rail links, with direct links to many major UK cities along the East Coast mainline. The Metro station located within Central Station provides seamless links to Cobalt Business Exchange. Take the Metro from platform 2 to Northumberland Park Interchange. From here you can connect to the 19 bus service, direct to Cobalt Business Exchange. The total journey time is approx 35 mins. The cost effective Day Rover ticket is available for purchase from Metro ticket machines and will cover both the Metro and bus transfer to Cobalt Business Exchange.

Via the Airport

Newcastle International Airport offers flights to over 18 UK airports. The Metro station located within the airport runs services to South Gosforth Metro station. Change at South Gosforth from Platform 2, for trains towards the coast and Northumberland Park Interchange. Here you can connect to the 19 bus service for the 3 min journey to Cobalt Business Exchange.

By Bus

More than 1,000 bus journeys connect to Cobalt Business Exchange on a daily basis, providing transfer to over 40 key destinations throughout the region. Newcastle Direct Express services include the X9, X58 and X39 buses. The new buses on the CobaltClipper 309 route provide free wifi to all travellers. The maximum wait time for a bus travelling from Newcastle to Cobalt is approx 8 minutes.

Service 19 connects both legs of the metro at the Northumberland Park Interchange. Other services that run direct to the park connect Gateshead, Ashington, Gosforth, Wallsend, Whitley Bay, North Shields, Cramlington, Ashington, Killingworth, Monkseaton, and many more.

By Metro

The Metro network consists of 59 station providing transport links across Tyne and Wear. The transport interchange at Northumberland Park and Percy Main provides connections to the 19 bus service, with direct links to Cobalt Business Exchange. Metros run every 10 minutes throughout the day.

Walking/Cycling

Well-maintained walking routes and cycle connect to the Waggonways Cycle Route and onto Cobalt Business Exchange allow safe and easy access to the Business Park for both pedestrians and cyclists. Cycle Parking is available at all buildings on Cobalt Business Exchange.
