Silverlink’s PCS Community solution is an integral part of the PCS suit that offers a robust management solution for community-based healthcare.
Designed to be highly compliant with the NHS best-practice, the system improves the admission and appointment process of a patient by linking acute episodes to a referral and RTT pathway, permitting the updating of patient information via community activity. Consequently PCS Community provides the foundation for Trusts to seamlessly deliver care to both acute and community domains, and supports the vertical integration of acute and community services throughout the NHS.
Using PCS Community, patient appointment bookings and attendances are recorded directly into the community team’s diary pages, allowing information to be more accessible and effectively used, resulting in improved patient outcomes and better use of resources and time.
PCS Community currently supports national requirements such as the e-Referral Service and Patient Demographic Service (PDS) for hospital-based community activity, and user defined documentation that can include GS1 barcodes. The system is also continuously evolving in accordance with National Guidelines, standards and input from the user-base.
