CapturePsychiatry is Silverlink’s integrated digital care record, allowing Psychaitric Liasion teams to efficiently manage their service.
The system was developed in close collaboration with the clinical team at a leading Older People’s Mental Health Liaison Service in the north-east of England. The bulk of patients’ notes, time tracking and reporting was previously undertaken through paper-based notes or across multiple disparate systems.
CapturePsychiatry enables the team to receive the patient referrals electronically, record their activities and interventions for that patient in as close to real-time as possible and also give them instant access to this data for reporting purposes and on-going care.
“CapturePsychiatry has streamlined the way we work by removing many of our paper-based steps, helping us move to paper-lite working. We have ready access to essential patient information and the fact that this is portable around the hospital is particularly valuable. Utilising CapturePsychiatry we are able to look after our patients in a safer, more effective way. Audit and data collection is also much quicker now that we can get data back from CapturePsychiatry in real time”
Dr Catherine Kirkley, Older Person’s Mental Health Liaison Team, Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust
